introduction
This event, “Get your HANDS DIRTY, EAT LOCAL!” is a joint project of WWOOF Korea and Slow Food Korea, celebrating the start of AsiO Gusto,  the first international Slow Food festival to represent all of Asia and Oceania.

In the wake of events and movements such as Salone del Gusto and Euro Gusto, Slow Food Korea takes the initiative in hosting AsiO Gusto from October 1 to 6, 2013, with the support of Namyangju City government.

*”gusto” means hearty enjoyment of tasting.

what to do
– Get your hands dirty on a Korean farm with Korean WWOOFers and international participants
– Get hands on Korean local cooking experience with WWOOF hosts.
– (One group is consisted of 5 – 10 people and there’s at least one Korean speaking  supporter in a group. )

time and place
– This is ONE DAY trip
– This takes place in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do (one hour east of Seoul)
Namyangju is famous for organic farming. It’s one of the biggest organic farming area in Asia.

Each participant will be gifted WWOOF and Slow Food T-shirt.

The group WWOOFing is held in Namyangju, one of the biggest organic farming areas in Asia.

We’ll meet at Ungilsan(운길산) Station on ChungGang Line(중앙선) at 9:00 am.
Since there are not much trains, don’t be late for the time!
